My brother is in college right now trying to figure out the age-old question, "what should I do?" I've been racking my brain for ideas. He's a very intelligent kid, and is a hard worker. Very mechanically apt also. He doesn't want to work primarily behind a desk, but still wants one somewhere in his day.
I've suggested he go work as an intern, or just as a shadow, somewhere that interests him. Unfortunately he can't really decide where to go, and I'm out of suggestions. I figured this forum is relatively diverse in occupations, so I might find some interesting suggestions here.
My last suggestion to him was to hang a sandwich board around his neck with the words, "Will work for experience, for free."
Ideas?
